Working as a live-in carer is an excellent way to earn an income when visiting friends or family in the UK. Carers will be provided with free accommodation and board while working and they will receive some of the best training in the industry by our award-winning Consultus Care Training Centre. All courses are run by experienced, trainers and will help carers feel fully prepared for the journey ahead of them.
Bookings are usually for two weeks, but can be extended if all parties agree. The work undertaken is often unsupervised and requires understanding, patience, dedication and commitment to ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of our clients is met at all times.
Duties may include washing, dressing and various other aspects of the clients personal care needs. Carers may also be expected to undertake general household chores such as, shopping, cleaning and cooking. As a carer it is vital to make your client feel safe and comfortable in their home.
