Beckham books top Paris suite

Hôtel Bristol is next to Elysée palace and surrounded by luxury shops in 8th arrondissement

DAVID Beckham has chosen a 320m² luxury suite in Paris's top Hôtel Bristol as the base for his stint at Paris Saint-Germain football club.

RTL radio claims the former LA Galaxy star has booked the Imperial Suite at the hotel until the end of June - at a cost of €17,000 a night.

The hotel is on the chic Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, next to the Elysée palace and near the British Embassy, a long line of luxury shops and just behind the Champs-Elysées.

Beckham signed a five-month deal to join Paris St Germain and has said he will take no pay, his salary being donated by the club to a Paris children’s charity.
