No fly zone for visitors
Until last summer, British Airways ran flights from London City Airport to Angers.
It was perfect for visitors to our gîte as Angers is just a 40-minute drive away. This flight has now stopped as there is no longer a manned air traffic control tower at Angers.
Angers is the gateway to the Loire region, so it is a shame this flight no longer operates.

We contacted Jean-Pierre Stagnaro, the director of Angers Loire airport, who said heis working hard to reinstatethe route, and said that he would like Connexion readers to help. Please email aeroport.angers@angersloireaeroport.fr so that he can pass onto the authorities to show there is a serious demand from travellers.
