Walk-in Covid vaccinations at shopping centres in France this weekend
Temporary sites are being set up to make it easy to get a jab and no appointments are needed

New temporary vaccination centres are being set up this weekend in venues such as shopping centres for people to get a Covid jab without booking an appointment.
The move aims to encourage as many people as possible to get vaccinated against Covid-19, as between nine and ten million people in France who are eligible for vaccines are still yet to receive a first dose.
Infection rates are expected to increase as people head back to school or to work at the same time after the summer holidays.
Children over 12 who have not yet been vaccinated and will be required to show a health pass from September 30 can take this opportunity to get theirs.
Extra vaccinators are being brought in especially and additional vaccination centres will be set up at venues including shopping centres to make the process as quick and efficient as possible.
Further information can be found via the regional health agency website by selecting your region on the map.
