French capital overtakes London in economic index

PARIS has claimed top spot in a list of the European cities with best medium-term growth potential – overtaking London on the way.

Brexit fears cost London its lead in the European Regional Economic Growth Index – it was top for four years – and LaSalle Investment Management said Paris was gaining momentum and looked better due to a competitive workforce and improved job prospects.
