Colour-coded logo offers at-a-glance nutritional guide
A NEW five-colour, A-E, logo has been brought in to show nutritional information on foods, with A being for the best nutritional quality.
It gives an overall view of calories, fats, sugars, proteins, fibre and salt in 100g or 100ml of a product.
Each was scored and the total gives the rating which is intended for all pre-packed foods, although it is not mandatory.
