Four-in-one pens by Bic just got a new pencil
FOR school pupils and office workers of a certain vintage, the BIC four-colour pen is an iconic staple of the pencil case or stationery cupboard. However, the French company has just launched a revolutionary take on this classic: it is now available in a three-colour version (black, blue, red) with the fourth slot housing a 0.7mm graphite pencil.
It comes with a refill tube that includes 12 leads and five erasers.
Bic was founded in 1945 by Turin-born Baron Marcel Bich, who in 1953 bought the patent for the ballpoint pen for US $2 million from Hungarian László Bíró.
