Two Paris shows for Rolling Stones this autumn
Iconic rockers will play inaugural shows at the U Arena at La Défense
The Rolling Stones will play two shows in Paris this autumn, when they inaugurate the new 40,000-seatre indoor U Arena at Nanterre-La Défense.
The October 19 and 22 shows by the Satisfaction and Jumpin’ Jack Flash rockers will be the first on French soil since their the Stade de France gig in June 2014.
The Paris dates are the final two on the No Filter tour of Europe, announced by the band this morning.
In a video announcing the tour, Keith Richards commented, “Hey Guys, here we come. See you there!” while Mick Jagger said, “I’m so excited to be touring Europe this Autumn and returning to some familiar places and some we’ve never done before.”

The band released a critically acclaimed, stripped-back blues album, Blue and Lonesome, in December 2016.
U Arena is a huge covered stadium in Nanterre that will also be the new home of the Racing 92 rugby team and host cultural events.
Other shows already announced at the ultra-modern, multi-use new arena are supercross on November 18 and 19, and the 10-year anniversary tour of ‘Stars 80’ (1980s singers) on December 2.
