France's fifth busiest airport is set to undergo some serious changes
Marseille Provence Airport has unveiled a €250 million terminal redevelopment project as part of its ambitious plans to overtake Nice Côte d’Azur as the south coast’s premier flight destination.
Officials say that the airport could accommodate between 12 million and 16 million passengers by 2027.
Currently about 8.5 million passengers use the airport serving France’s second city every year, making it the country’s fifth busiest.
