A COURT has given 20% of a €2.2 million jackpot to the man who pulled the lever on the winning slot machine and the rest to the woman who leant him €50 to play.
Lawyers at the court in Montpellier said that the case was without precedent and “a legal blackhole”.
Both parties are reported to have accepted the decision over the jackpot, won at the Casino of Palavas-les-Flots in the Hérault.
