Visitors can create their own Star Wars character at an exhibition showcasing 200 props, costumes and models
A COLLECTION of over 200 props, costumes and models from Star Wars have gone on show in Lyon.
Star Wars: Identities gives visitors an opportunity to learn more about the inhabitants who dwelt “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away”.
The exhibition explores identity, themed around species, genes, parents, culture, mentors friends, life events, work and personality and values.
All these elements are grouped into three main sections: origins, influence and choices - the development of a person, something often seen in the films
Visitors can even design their own character, choosing different species and roles, from pilots to bounty hunters.
Due to the popularity of the exhibition, which is in English and French, tickets are given out for specific times during the day.
You can book online or at the venue, the La Sucrière in Lyon.
The exhibition runs until April 19, and yes, you can turn up in costume.
