Alert: Lidl recalls four cheese pizza in over 100 French shops
The budget supermarket chain has recalled one type of four cheese pizza from shops in three regions in the east of the country due to an expiry date issue
Lidl has set a recall on a four cheese pizza sold in over 100 of its shops in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Grand Est, as it has the wrong expiry date on it.
The pizza is made by the brand Toque du chef and is called Pizza 4 formaggi, 380g. All of the pizzas of this type sold between November 9 and 25 have the wrong expiry date, and are labelled either December 28 or 29 instead of November 28 or 29.
Lidl recommends that its customers do not consume the pizza and either throw it out or take it back to the shop where they bought it to be reimbursed.
The issue is due to a labelling discrepancy.
The recall procedure will end on December 13.
