Appeal for help to find missing boy, 9, in south-west France

The family of a missing nine-year-old boy in south-west France are appealing for witnesses after the child disappeared yesterday (February 8).

The boy, known as Eden C.L., went missing at around 17:45 from the commune Soustons (Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine). He is thought to have been in a black Renault Clio car.

His school bag and phone have been found in a ditch.

He is described at 1m45 tall, of slim build, with short light-brown hair. He was wearing black jogging bottoms, black trainers, a grey/blue hoodie, and a black jacket with the brand Kaporal.

Helicopters are currently flying over Soustons in a bid to find clues. No more information about the circumstances of the boy’s disappearance have been revealed.
