Balloon to drop free air tickets
Return flights among 1,000 paper planes dropped by easyJet over Parisian business district La Défense tomorrow
EASYJET is planning to drop free air tickets over Parisian business district La Défense tomorrow.
At 13.30 a hot air balloon in the company’s colours will drop 1,000 orange paper planes on to the main square of the business zone to the west of Paris. Twenty of them will contain tickets for free return air flights.
Anyone finding a ticket will be able to travel with the person of their choice to one of the firm’s 33 European destinations from Paris Orly or Charles de Gaulle.
At the same time the firm is running a competition on its website to win tickets from one of its other French bases (Paris, Nantes, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Biarritz, Montpellier, Marseille, Nice, Grenoble and Lyon) to one of the 80 destinations it flies to from France.
