Bamboo tree help sought
Neighbour's bamboo is damaging our property. What can we do?
SOME years ago, our neigbour must have planted a giant bamboo on the boundary of his land, against a wall of our house.
We were not aware of this until it reached a height of some six metres and, in the wind, branches repeatedly banged on the roof tiles, breaking some of the tiles on our roof.
I am concerned by the close proximity to our property and that the aggressive root system could damage either the footings or walls of the property.
Any advice would be appreciated.
