Black cabs on way to France
Black cabs could soon be on the streets of France as Paris taxi drivers eye up the TX4
BLACK cabs could soon be on the streets of France as Paris taxi drivers eye up the TX4, the latest version of the iconic people-mover.
Priced at €33,900, the cabs come with the classic five-seat passenger configuration.
Elisabeth Young, of importers EMG, said French taxi drivers were especially interested in the security partition between the cab and the passenger area.
They were also interested in the ability to fit a ramp for wheelchair users or those with other disabilities.
Built in China, the cabs come with a 2.5l diesel engine that puts out 212g of CO2/km and they can only be ordered online at the EMG website www.london-taxis.fr
