WHEN Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is naming her baby she may not think of turning to the 2012 edition of the Officiel des Prénoms – but if she does then she will be pointed towards Nathan for a boy and Emma for a girl.
It is the first time Nathan has taken the top spot, knocking Lucas into second with Jules in third, while Emma has again managed to fight off the attentions of Jade and Zöe.
However, the proud parents have chosen very different names for their previous children: traditional for Mr Sarkozy’s three sons Pierre, Jean and Louis while Carla was less so with her son Aurélien.
