Cold snap brings return of frosty mornings
The temperature is set to drop across the whole of France this week, with the return of frost in the mornings.

Caused by a combination of a high anti-cyclone coming in from the Atlantic and polar air passing from Scandinavia towards the Balkans, a north-easterly wind will bring dry and quite cold weather for this time of year, especially in the north of the country.
On Tuesday in the east, it will be very cold at altitude, and snow is forecast on the Vosges and the Jura above roughly 700 metres. Showers are expected from the Ardennes to Lorraine.
The sun will continue to shine from the Atlantic regions to Languedoc-Roussillon, where winds will strengthen and could reach 100 km/h on Tuesday and Wednesday. Stormy showers are forecast from the Côte d'Azur to Corsica.
From Wednesday to Saturday, an anti-cyclone coming in from Ireland will repel the disturbances across Central Europe and dry and sunny weather will return across France by the weekend.
