Dentist ends fear of flying
I would like to offer advice to Val Watson, of Castelnaudary (Letters, January). Some years ago my dentist in the UK, who was also qualified as a hypnotherapist told me of a patient who confessed to being terrified of flying.
He treated her with hypnotherapy and weeks later she sent him a postcard from her holiday saying she was almost looking forward to the journey home – the treatment had helped so much.
Perhaps you could help your correspondent and research the availability of hypnotherapy in France. This can be applied to many other areas of problems.
