Band who were performing at Bataclan during November attacks sell out Olympia venue in 30 minutes
THE EAGLES of Death Metal, the band who were performing at the Bataclan theatre when gunmen massacred 90 people, have sold out a concert at the Paris Olympia in 30 minutes.
The group has already returned to France to visit the Bataclan venue which remains closed following the attacks.
They played with U2 at a concert in Bercy but this will be their first return touring.
Tickets went on sale on January 20th but sold out within 30 minutes. The group also has shows in Nîmes and Lilles.
Survivors of the Bataclan attacks have all been invited to the show and were offered priority tickets for free. Many plan to attend.
Anyone who missed out on tickets will find that they have already doubled from their original price of €44 on resale sites.
