Easyjet moves Orly flights to CDG
Cancellations and route changes expected today as ground handlers at Orly enter their sixth day of strike
PASSENGERS travelling to and from Paris on Easyjet have been warned to check before they travel as a number of flights have been moved from Orly to Charles de Gaulle airport and others cancelled.
Ground handlers at Orly’s south terminal have been on strike for six days, severely affecting flights operated by Easyjet, Royal Air Maroc and Atlas Blue.
A number of Easyjet flights to Nice, Geneva and Toulouse have been cancelled today. The budget airline has put a list of all the affected services on its website.
Other services are departing from Charles de Gaulle with a free bus shuttle in operation. The flights are running from terminal three, except those heading to Switzerland which depart from terminal two.
Staff at Servisair are protesting after they lost the contract to provide the check-in and refuelling service at Orly’s south terminal to a competitor.
They want all the 430 jobs at the airport to be transferred to the new company taking over the contract at the beginning of November.
