Euroferries step closer to launch
Channel operator says website will take bookings from March 16. Port of Boulogne has still not confirmed service.
EUROFERRIES’ website says the the company will begin taking bookings on its promised Ramsgate to Boulogne service on March 16.
While the operator claims its high-speed service will start running on March 31, a spokeswoman for the Port of Boulogne said the port was still unable to confirm any service agreement.
Euroferries recently announced it had acquired the 96m fast ferry Bonanza Express from the shipping company Fred Olson.
It says it will operate four crossings daily for cars, foot passengers, coaches and some freight and caravans.
The company says the advantage of its business model will be express coach services providing links between Ramsgate and London for passengers.
