First shock packs appear in stores
First images on cigarette packets appear in stores in France ahead of law in April
THE FIRST cigarette packs with pictures of diseased lungs and throats are appearing in tabacs ahead of a new law.
From April 20, all packets will have to have such pictures printed on the sides, and manufacturers have already begun producing them to avoid losing stock.
The photos are printed on the back of the packets, so are not instantly seen in tobacconists.
