France adds Mali to Ebola checklist
Passengers from Bamako arriving at Paris airports will be tested for signs of the deadly virus
FRANCE has extended its Ebola controls at airports to include flights arriving from Mali.
The decision by the health ministry comes after four cases of the virus were confirmed by Malian authorities - including three deaths.
Since this weekend, passengers arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports from Bamako will have their temperatures taken to detect signs of fever.
Leaflets are also being handed out explaining what passengers should do if they fall ill with 21 days of arriving.
Until now, only passengers from Guinea have been tested on arrival in France.
Air France suspended flights two of the worst-hit countries - Liberia and Sierra Leone - at the end of August.
