France confinement form: Clarification
The form that everyone in France is required to carry when they go out during confinement cannot be downloaded on your phone.
This is contrary to previous advice. It must be printed or hand written, the Interior Ministry has said today. The government said this morning that the possibility to use a mobile device is under review, but "at this stage only official forms and versions written on plain paper are recognised as valid" by the police.
If you do not have this form with you when you go outside, you risk a fine of €135m rising to €375 if not paid in the next 45 days. You can only go out for work, medical reasons, childcare, groceries, to practise a physical activity (but not collectively), to walk your dog or to visit a vulnerable person.
