'Free' bottle of champagne
The champagne house Duval-Leroy is offering one free bottle of bubbly as part of a marketing blitz
AN award winning champagne house is offering a free bottle of bubbly through its website next week.
Duval-Leroy wants to create the largest tasting operation in France in celebration of its international and national success, where it is the only wine maker to have a Wine Spectator 90+ rating on all of its products.
Visitors to boutique.duval-leroy.com will be able to order one free bottle until November 8 albeit with the €31 cost of postage and packaging for delivery in France.
(By comparison you can buy the wine from other stockists for €47 including p&p, so there is a saving to be made. Also, order 24 bottles from the Duval-Leroy store and delivery is free).
The group will also be holding competitions to win bottles on its Facebook page.
In 26 departments wine shops who stock Champagne Duval-Leroy will also be offering one free bottle a day.
See the full list of participating caves.
The Caves du Louvre wine experience in Paris will also be including Champagne Duval-Leroy as part of its tastings.
The company’s Femme de Champagne brand has been awarded best champagne in competitions in Asia in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and a gold medal in Germany.
