The two-week contest will see French performances in figure skating, curling, slalom, skijumping, biathlon and snowboarding.
2008 world figure skating champions Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder will be hoping for better than their fourth ranking at the last winter games in Turin.
Other tips for gold include slalom star Sandrine Aubert, who has just been crowned world champion at the Alpine Skiing World Cup in Zagreb, and world skicross number one Ophélie David, who makes her Olympic debut.
All of the action will be broadcast live on France Télévisions from February 12 to 28 and will also be streamed online at http://jo-vancouver-2010.francetv.fr
