Police are looking for three men after a quick-thinking pupil stopped three men trying to attract her brother with sweets.
The girl stopped the boy accepting the sweets from one of the men, who were in a car outside a school in Sorgues, Vaucluse, after lunch on the afternoon on Tuesday, 21 May.
She then took him into school grounds and informed staff of the event.
The school's headmaster immediately alerted police, who are investigating the incident. CCTV footage from the area has been collected, reports say.
