French Week ends after 23 issues

Publishers Polymath Media say it is unlikely that creditors and subscribers will get any money back

WEEKLY newspaper French Week has closed after 23 issues, with publishers Polymath Media saying that it was unlikely that creditors and subscribers would get any money back because "the company had too many debts".

French Week was a successor to the monthly French News, which collapsed in December 2008 after 21 years. Run by Nick Hughes, Miranda Neame and Adam Brown, the paper was the first national weekly English-language paper in France.

Former French News editor Miranda Neame was editor. There was no reply from the French Week office when The Connexion tried to contact them.
