Game of Thrones back on Monday
Eagerly awaited fourth series of George RR Martin's fantasy to be broadcast in France hours after American premiere
EXCITEMENT is mounting among France-based fans of TV series Game of Thrones, ahead of the fourth series of the sweeping fantasy.
The new run of the epic series, based on George RR Martin’s novels, will start in France on pay-TV broadcaster OCS at 8.55pm on Monday, just a few hours after it is shown on American television. Subscribers to the channel can opt to watch it in English, as it will be broadcast in multi-language format.
Those with access to the Sky Atlantic channel will be able to see the first episode even earlier, as Sky will show the series at the same time as it premieres in the US. However, that will mean they will be extremely bleary-eyed, as it will first hit Sky Atlantic screens at 2am on Monday. For anyone who can’t stay up that late, it will be repeated at 9pm the same day.
In the first episode of the fourth season, Tyrion receives a guest at King's Landing, Daenerys heads toward the slave city of Meereen, and Jon Snow finds himself unwelcome at Castle Black.
