Girl killed in TV lighthouse fall
12-year-old gymnast fell while filming acrobatics for the show Monument préféré des Français

A 12-year-old girl has fallen from a lighthouse and died during the recording of a television programme.
She fell during a gymnastic routine on the lighthouse at Cap-Ferret that was being filmed for Monument préféré des Français due to be shown on France 2.
An investigation has been opened into how the girl came to fall several metres onto a concrete roof above the entrance during filming on Thursday night.
Despite swift action by paramedics she died at the scene.
She was part of a group of Bordeaux-based acrobats called Adrénaline who were performing a routine around the landmark similar to the one below recorded earlier this year.
Her parents were at the occasion and are being looked after by counsellors.
Video equipment, including drones, has been seized by investigators who are also interviewing witnesses.
Earlier this year ten people died when two helicopters collided during the filming of a French reality TV show Dropped in Argentina .
Three French sports stars including the Olympic gold-winning swimmer Camille Muffat were among those killed.
