High price for Bugatti brother’s sculpture
A sculpted panther by Rembrandt Bugatti, brother of car maker Ettore, was auctioned at the Bayeux auction house in Calvados.
The 20cm high animal was bought by a French collector for €520,000.
Last November, French actor and long-time Bugatti collector Alain Delon sold 17 sculptures at auction at Christie’s, Paris for a total of €4,081,000.
