I am axe-killer admits babysitter
Woman says she murdered then chopped up couple after their baby accidentally died
A STUDENT has admitted killing with an axe the parents of a baby she had been babysitting.
“Lu T.”, 30, and partner “Hui Z.”, 31, gave themselves up to the police in Paris after an enquiry was opened into the discovery of pieces of cut up human bodies in the Bois de Vincennes.
Lu T., who is Chinese and is studying to be a beautician, said she was babysitting the three-month-old baby of another Chinese couple in the 12th arrondissement when the baby died of sudden infant death syndrome.
When the parents came back a “lively discussion,” ensued, said Le Parisien. The babysitter and her partner reportedly tried to offer compensation, at which point the mother tried to strangle the babysitter, while the father stabbed her partner in an arm with a kitchen knife.
The babysitter told police she then picked up an axe and killed the parents with it before cutting them up in the bathroom and then burying the pieces in the woods with help her partner’s help. She said she put the baby’s body in a dustbin in the street.
The couple reportedly went back to China, where they left their own two-year-old with family members, before coming back to France and giving themselves up after consulting an avocat.
They had already been suspected of involvement due to statements from the brother of the victims and police had – unsuccessfully - searched their flat for traces of blood, said Le Parisien.
The investigation began after joggers found a piece of leg in the Bois de Vincennes.
