Joint credit-debit card is success

Success of Crédit Agricole’s Double Action card has prompted other banks to follow

The success of Crédit Agricole’s Double Action card – which functions as a debit card or credit card according to the user – has prompted other banks to follow.

Banque Populaire has been testing out its version, called Facellia in several departments ahead of a nationwide launch in June.

Caisses d'epargne and Société Générale also have plans for similar cards.

Since its launch in 2008, 800,000 people have taken up a Double Action card.
