Madonna plays Paris and Nice

MADONNA is to play two dates in France as part of her 2012 world tour with a concert to mark the national day on July 14 at Stade de France, Paris, and then, a month later, at Stade Charles-Ehrmann in Nice on August 21.

The two dates are part of a tour that includes just short of 90 shows to publicise her new MDNA album.

Fresh from her halftime performance at the US Superbowl - where she was seen by 114 million people - the series of concerts could be one of the highest-grossing ever following the success of her 2008-9 tour which took in $408m

Tickets are due to go on sale on February 14 on www.livenation.fr as well as recognised sales agents. Prices for Nice are said to start from €45.30 but for Paris Early Entry tickets are already on sale for €288.30 plus charges on livenation.fr.

Madonna's new single Give Me All Your Luvin' has been catapulted to No1 spot in iTunes charts in 51 countries including the US, UK and France.
