Mobile boarding pass for flights
Passengers flying from Paris to Amsterdam can use their mobiles as boarding passes.
Air France and KLM have launched a service where mobile phones can be used to board flights between Paris and Amsterdam.
It is the first time such a system has been used for international flights.
Passengers can check in luggage, pass through security and board a flight using nothing but their phone and an idendity card or passport.
The mobile details will be accepted at check-in desks at Charles de Gaulle airport, security stations and when boarding the flight.
You can check in online up to 30 hours before your flight.
Earlier this year Air France conducted tests on using mobiles on board certain planes. The company said the reaction from passengers had been positive with very few complaints.
nAir France has also announced a reduction in its fuel surcharge after a fall in the price of oil. The price of short-haul flights will drop by €2, medium-haul flights by €4 and long-haul flights by between €10 and €14.
