No strain on French trains
Re. your article on train service in France... my mother often travelled from Le Mans to Nottingham by train.
I would book the tickets and ask for someone to help her on and off the train. Without fail, there was someone there to meet her with a wheelchair to help her off the train.
On one occasion I had not managed to book support so I asked at the first station and they phoned ahead. As the train arrived they were there at the next station.
