You can help cheer up children in hospitals as the charity Le Rire Médecin pays for clowns to perform in the wards.
Its Nez pour Sourire operation has raised €120,000 to fund 8,000 hospital visits by clowns.
Founded by US actress Caroline Simonds in 1988, Le Rire is now recognised by healthcare authorities with its own new profession comédien clown hospitalier en établissement de soins.
