Renault warns of steering problems
French car giant recalls 144,000 Scenic and Kangoo models sold in France since 2006
RENAULT has recalled 144,000 cars sold in France over safety concerns linked to the power steering.
The French car manufacturer has urged anyone who bought a Scenic made between January 2006 and March 2007 or a Kangoo between 2008 and January 2009 to get their vehicle serviced.
Fixing the steering problem will take about half an hour and will be paid for by the manufacturer, Renault said.
A similar problem with the Fiat Grande Punto prompted a recall of half a million cars last month.
