Police in south-west France are actively searching for a 83-year-old British woman who was declared missing on January 1 from her home in Gers.
Frances Mary Smith left home at 14:00 on January 1 wearing blue jeans, a red and black chequered shirt, and a hat.
She has not been seen since, and her disappearance is considered worrying.
Ms Smith, who is 1m70 and of slight build, is said to suffer from memory problems. She has reportedly gone missing in the past, only to be found several kilometres from her home days later.
The Gers gendarmerie in Auch request that anyone with any information concerning Ms Smith contact them on 17 or 05 62 60 50 00.
