Send manure in the post as a joke
A farmer from the Jura has diversified into mail-order manure - the perfect gift for someone who has offended you
A FARMER from the Jura has diversified into mail-order manure - the perfect gift for someone who has offended you.
For €8.50 plus €5.50 postage www.fumier.com sends 100g of manure from the Montbéliarde cows, whose milk makes Comté cheese.
They come in a wooden cheese box - a Jura tradition - and include a personalised message.
Nasty messages are banned however and the gift is not anonymous - it is not meant for "revenge" but as a "joke", inventor Roger Combotte says.
He has had to decline some orders for politician’s rivals, but they are popular for people’s exes, he said.
