SFR launches pan-EU contract
Contract treats calls to or from other European countries as if they were made in France
A MOBILE phone contract that treats calls to or from other European countries as if they were made in France has been launched by SFR.
The firm calls Illimythics Pro Europe “the first European mobile phone contract”.
It is aimed mainly at businesspeople, but may suit other regular travellers. It comes at different prices, with two to six hours of “free” calls, starting at €54.90 a month for a two-year contract.
Calls are then €0.38 a minute wherever you are (this should be reduced from next July, when the EU has fixed a ceiling for roaming charges of €0.35).
You can choose one of several options for unlimited calls in France (eg. 24 hours a day to three SFR numbers), and internet, email and television are unlimited in France.
