Low-cost promotional fare for launch of new European bus link from Aix, Marseille and Nice
AFTER Lyon and Paris, SNCF is extending its iDBUS European bus services to link Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Nice with Genoa, Turin and Milan.
The new service, which starts on May 27, will give two return trips a day with fixed one-way prices set at €69 for Marseille-Milan if booked in advance, or €79 if taken on the day.
However, bookings before April 30 will be just €19 one-way.
Normal 55-seater buses have been reconfigured to give more space for passengers and will have just 48 seats. Each seat will be inclinable and the buses have free Wifi and electrical points.
Journey times will be around 10 hours for Marseille-Milan and six hours 30 minutes from Nice. Marseille-Genoa is seven hours and four hours from Nice.
