FORECASTERS are warning of icy roads across parts of northern France on Monday morning as temperatures fall below freezing.
Météo France is expecting a few centimetres of snow tonight in Normandy, Picardy and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Some light snow is also forecast for the Paris region.
Temperatures in the north-east, along the Belgian and German borders, will fall to -3°C in some parts overnight, with fog, frost and hazardous driving conditions the following morning.
More snow is forecast across most of eastern France on Thursday, with a slight improvement in temperatures across the country by the weekend.
