Spa bliss
Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to win a year’s subscription after appearing in Home Sweet Home (January edition).
I received my first copy in February and it featured the spa, Le Signal, at Les Saisies in the Savoie, where we were about to spend a six-day holiday.
The main purpose of the holiday was racquet walking – the first day I walked for seven hours, resulting in three bouts of cramp! But what joy, the following four days I spent in the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi – it was bliss. There was a salle détente with comfy chairs and free tisane on tap. Thanks to The Connexion, I now have an escape from racquet walking.
