Speeding Metro had doors open
Video shows train rattling through tunnels with nothing to stop passengers falling out

ASTONISHING video of a Paris Metro train rattling through the tunnels with its doors open and passengers apparently oblivious to the danger has sparked an inquiry at the RATP transport authority.
Filmed by a YouTube member called Le Traineau, the one minute 14 second video has been viewed more than 120,000 times.
RATP told journalists it was checking if the video was authentic – it was said to have been filmed on Metro Ligne 10 between Ségur and La Motte-Picquet stations – but said it had no complaints of problems.
Le Traineau was contacted by Metronews and he said that the doors stayed open as the train pulled away from the platform and stayed open between the two stations, although closed normally for the rest of the journey. Fortunately the train was near empty.
Metro Ligne 10 uses MF67 trains which date from 1967 and are the oldest on the network. Le Parisien said they do not have more modern security systems that stops the train moving if a door is open.
Some internet viewers have labelled the video a fake but it shows graffiti-scarred tunnel walls flashing past as the cameraman walks through the carriage and looks out of the doors.
