Stolen Audi tracked across Paris before owner cuts engine to stop thieves

A man had his Audi stolen in Paris, but the thieves were not able to go far as the man was able to track the vehicle in real time, before remotely cutting its engine.
The car, an Audi RS3, registered in Germany, was stolen from the 17th arrondissement of Paris on August 14, according to Le Parisien.
The owner alerted the authorities and was able to follow the movements of his car using a geolocation system.
He was able to track the car while it was travelling on the A10 towards the Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines toll south-west of Paris.
As the vehicle approached the toll, the owner used a mobile application to remotely cut the engine, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
Gendarmes from the Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines motorised unit quickly reached the scene, finding three men, aged 18 and 19, inside the immobilised vehicle. All three were arrested and placed in police custody.
