French weekend weather outlook December 14 - 15: gloomy and chilly in the north

Summer preview in store as temperatures soar
France will bask under blue skies and warm sunshine from Tuesday, say forecasters
France is set to enjoy a sneak preview of summer this week, with temperatures set to soar into the upper 20s from Tuesday.
Météo France said that the whole of the country will enjoy blue skies and warm sunshine after a relatively cool start to the week.
Temperatures are expected to rise to between 24C and 26C, and could reach 28C in some areas - but, the national forecaster warned that summer's preview show will be short lived with the mercury set to return to seasonal averages next week.
Meanwhile, it is worth remembering that temperatures will quickly plummet once the sun sets, a Météo France spokesman said.
While France will bask in some early summer sun, with Paris set to enjoy 26C daytime temperatures, it is unlikely any April weather records will be set. In this month in 1949, Paris baked in 30C sunshine.
