Taxe d'habitation payment site down
'Technical problem' makes it impossible to pay local tax online, but paper deadline has already passed
THE OFFICIAL website for paying the taxe d'habitation has been hit by an IT bug, just days before the online payment deadline.
Since yesterday lunchtime, it has been impossible to pay the local tax and TV licence on impots.gouv.fr
The problem has still not be resolved this morning. An error message says there is "a technical incident" with the payment page.
The deadline for paying the taxe d'habitation by post was yesterday.
Those who have already opted for online payment, and have registered on the site, have until November 20.
