Bosses at a gastropub washed their hands of Dordogne fraudster Graham Templeton when they heard of his past
BOSSES at a gastropub washed their hands of Dordogne fraudster Graham Templeton when they heard of his past.
Dave and Nicola Rose said that Templeton had offered them financial advice just before Christmas to help the business which was struggling through the recession.
Staff at the Kings Arms in Keston, Kent - where Templeton is now living - were in tears as they listened to stories of how he had wrecked the lives of the expats caught up in his €2m Dordogne con.
Mrs Rose said: "Some people had their doubts about him and started doing online checks and when we discovered his background and the people he had ruined in France we were devastated. "He said he had just returned from living in Columbia and wanted to start up again."
They say Templeton worked for them for a month before they discovered his previous crimes via the internet and gave him the boot in January.
